La Promesa Honduras is a Christian charitable nonprofit organizations providing competent and compassionate care for children, families and communities in Honduras.

Our day-to-day work represents our commitment to family-based care and to the belief that children belong in safe homes with loving families.  La Promesa meets people in some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives and provides quality and accessible professional services in the areas of trauma-informed counseling and mental health treatment, family preservation and foster care, training and professional development.  We consider it an honor and a privilege to step into the space between tragedy and hope and extend tangible affirmation of God’s immeasurable love to people when they need it the most.
